Sphinx is Harvey’s electric quintet comprised of led by Harvey on sax/pedals with a four-piece rhythm section. This ensemble exists at the crossroads of jazz, fusing it with all different styles of Black American Music. Following in the vein of musicians like Robert Glasper, Braxton Cook, Nate Smith, Terrace Martin, and more, this group pushes the boundaries between improvisation and groove.
